Privacy at the Fieryplay Guide
Effective from 7 October 2026. The guide handles five items of personal data, and the table gives each one a source, a purpose and a lifespan. The sections after it fill in the detail, one item at a time.
| Data item | Where it comes from | What it is used for | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Server log entry | Every page request | Running the site, spotting abuse | A short period, then deleted |
| Analytics count | Visits, where analytics are on | Seeing which pages help | Aggregated form, longer |
| Email and message | Your contact message | Answering you | Until the question is resolved |
| Subscriber address and consent time | The newsletter form | Sending updates, proving consent | Until you unsubscribe |
| Cookie choice | The consent banner | Remembering what you accepted | Until you change it |
Who decides what happens to the data
The publisher of the guide is the controller for the data described here. The guide is a publication, not a gambling operator, so it holds no player accounts, payment details or identity documents. Whatever you hand to the casino itself falls under the casino’s own privacy terms, and that starts the moment you follow a link to Fieryplay or any other site.
Log entries and analytics
Your browser sends an IP address, device type, browser version, the referring page and the pages you open. The hosting provider records the time, address and page of each request, and those entries show repeated failed requests and other signs of abuse. Nobody reads them to learn who a visitor is, and they are not combined with other data to pick out an individual reader.
Analytics, where enabled, work on aggregated counts rather than on a profile of you.
Messages and the newsletter
An email to us arrives with your address and your message, and we use both to answer you. Please keep card numbers, casino passwords, identity documents and health details out of it. If one slips in, say so and the whole message will be erased.
A newsletter signup stores the address and the time of your consent so that we can show it later. Every update carries an unsubscribe link, and the address is used for nothing but those updates.
Legal grounds
Running and securing the site rests on legitimate interest. Non-essential cookies and the newsletter rest on your consent, and answering a message rests on your request. No decision about you is made by automated means.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep pages working. Analytics cookies, where switched on, count visits in aggregate. The guide sets no advertising cookies, although a casino you click through to may set its own. The banner lets you accept or refuse the optional ones, and your browser settings let you change your mind later.
Who else sees the data
Hosting and analytics providers process it for us under contract. Personal data is never sold, and it is disclosed to authorities only where a law or a valid official request demands it.
Security and cross-border processing
Connections are encrypted and access is limited to people who need it. Log data sits with the hosting provider under the same limits. Some providers work from outside your country, and in that case we expect approved model clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, delete, restrict or move your data, object to certain uses and withdraw consent. You may also take a complaint to the supervisory authority in your country. Write to [email protected] and expect an answer within one month.
Readers under 18
The guide is meant for adults. If a child has sent us information, tell us and it will be deleted.
When this notice changes
A revised notice replaces this one, and the date at the top moves with it. Anything that affects what we collect is updated here before the practice itself changes.
